Title: Limo Never Showed Up and Dispatcher Lied

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I booked them to take us to the 2012 MusiCares award show (part of the Grammys). First of all, they no longer have Priuses, despite the photos of them all over their website. No problem: we booked a natural gas towncar. We said we needed to leave the house at 4:30pm. They knew it was a red carpet event and we HAD to show up on time. Normally, a limo arrives 10-15 minutes before the departure time so I was a bit worried when they hadn't arrived by 4:30. I called and was told that the driver hit some traffic and would be 5-10 minutes late. I was annoyed that they hadn't called us to warn us, but figured 5-10 minutes would be OK. 10 minutes later, I got a voicemail saying the driver had been delayed and wouldn't arrive until 4:50pm. I looked at the traffic on Google maps and it wasn't bad, so I called the dispatcher to find out what was going on. I was told there had been a miscommunication with the driver and they didn't know when he would arrive. At 5pm, we gave up and drove ourselves to the event. Since we didn't have parking passes (we expected to be arriving in a limo), we had to park a long way away and I was forced to walk over a mile in a formal gown and high heels. We called the dispatcher when we left the house and told them we'd given up. He apologized and admitted they'd overscheduled the driver. Here's what really makes me mad: they knew by 4:15 that there was no way they'd make the pickup time. They could have called a taxi to pick us up and would have earned our loyalty as customers, but instead, they didn't say a word and left us stranded. Bottom line: don't use this company if you really need to get somewhere on time.
