Title: You Be The Judge

This company came to us with high reviews from a neighbor that used to use them for town car service to and from LAX Airport. We have used them once before without problems to pick up my Father-in-Law from LAX but this last time was HORRIBLE and their offer to resolve the complaint was ludicrous. This was a round trip reservation and to be fair in my review, the trip to the airport was without incident and would have been rated a 4-5. I should have known, however, that when they had me pay for the entire round trip, including tip, up front in cash/check we should have expected problems. When we got back to Los Angeles last evening after two weeks in Europe, they had a very poor quality KIA mini-van pick us up instead of a Lincoln Town Car which we paid for. The KIA mini-van had worn tires, dirty cloth interior, and "creaked" the entire 50 miles to our home. It was also a rolling advertisement with their logo splashed all over the door. The driver was very apologetic and stated that he agreed it was very poor of the car service to send this vehicle. When I called the car service to inquire why, she stated they had problems with "the" Town Car and she made a "judgement call" to send us the KIA. She only offered a $20.00 refund (we prepaid $279 for round trip and tip). I told her $20.00 was not sufficient and she said she would call the next day. She did call and stuck to her $20.00 and then became highly irritated when I said I would file a complaint (including the pictures I took of the vehicle) with the Better Business Bureau if she did make a better offer of resolution (I offered her $50 off my next Town Car service to LAX which I am traveling again on 5/18 as I thought this was a more reasonable offer then a cash refund). I will update this review when I see my $20.00 refund to advise if they honored their word. Long story short, NEVER pay this company up front and don't be surprised if they make "judgement calls" to send you a KIA instead of Lincoln Luxury.
