  • Title: Disappointed Bride

    On our wedding day, August 21st, 2010, Broadway Limo arrived at the church to pick up our fairly large wedding party. My husband and I were exiting the church surrounded by 350 of our guests tossing paper airplanes and wishing us off... in front of everyone as we were about to enter the limo, the driver cuts us off and shoves a clip board in our faces with a contract to sign and asks for a copy of our credit card. In front of everyone and our videographers. Then, I was informed (as we are all standing in front of the church) that the limo we had ordered was no longer available and that they had substituted a smaller limo. The driver said that not all of my wedding party could ride with us, and assumed that the other limo we had purchased (to take our parents directly to the reception site) could take the rest of our wedding party. We were not going directly to the reception site, as we were headed out into the city to take our pictures. Four members of our wedding party (one of which was the grooms brother) were unable to ride with us and subsequently were not included in our wedding pictures. When I got upset that my party couldn't ride with us as planned, in front of 350 of our guests at the church and moments after we had exchanged vows, the driver said "you can cancel if you want". You can imagine how disappointing and heartbreaking this experience was to my husband and I, and definitely put a damper on the excitement of our wedding. I contacted the company to share our experience after the wedding was over, and the company supervisor reacted very angrily and defensively and claimed that they had done what they could to get to the wedding, since the limo we reserved had broken down. The supervisor failed to apologize for making assumptions about the other 2 limos that we had rented for the event, much less make it right for us, nor did they follow up later on. Coming from high values on customer service, this was the worst service I have ever had. Understandably, at times, things go wrong when relying on machines, but the first question out of their mouths, should have been "what can I do to make this right for you or improve your experience?" rather than, "you can cancel if you want" or anger / defensiveness... since I did just spend nearly $2,000. dollars with their company and rented 3 limousines. We will never use this company again and I highly recommend you don't either!

  • Title: Very Unhappy Customer

    I reserved a 12-passenger stretch Lincoln town car for my wedding. The staff was consistently difficult to deal with over the phone - very short with people. I made the reservation way in advance and called up a few times to confirm the details, including three days before the wedding. At that time, the person on the phone didn't even know this was for a wedding somehow. However, I did not hang up until all details were confirmed and accurate. Then, as we walked out of the ceremony on our wedding day, the wrong vehicle showed up. The driver had no idea where we were going or how to get there. I had to borrow our photographer's iPhone to use the GPS feature and literally provide turn-by-turn directions to the driver. I e-mailed and called the owner 10 days after the wedding to tell him about my experience. His first question was "why did you wait so long to complain?" I told him because I was out of the country on my honeymoon immediately following the wedding. Then he tells me "the driver has a different story and said everything went fine so I don't know who to believe." Absolutely horrific customer service, and that is coming from the owner. I went with Broadway because they were the cheapest and it shows in their customer service. I recommend using anyone but Broadway Limousine.
