The Motor Carrier Transportation Division is responsible for regulating private passenger carriers including limousine, shuttle and charter-bus companies within the state of Oregon. All licensed companies are required to have a valid Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) Permit Number.

City of Portland: Vehicle for hire companies including taxi, limousine and shuttle operators are regulated by the Revenue Bureau of the Office of Management and Finance.
