  • Title: Horrid Business - Never Again

    Now a FORMER Shuttle Express user. Dreadful business, insulting, and shady because they have no competition. I made a round trip airport reservation online. Then thought I might get a ride home from my daughter and called to ask if I should instead book only one way. Oh, no. No problem, just give a call to cancel return trip. And so I did, after leaving Mexico for home. Noticed no change in the VISA charge so called. Unbearably rude and insulting person said I should have read the fine print requiring 24 hours notice. And called long distance from Mexico, no doubt. I explained what had happened, and she had the nerve to say they maybe could arrange to have someone listen to my recorded phone call to see if I was telling the TRUTH! What a filthy, horrid business. Never again.

Dispute Review

  • Title: Highly Disorganized, Unprofessional Dispatch

    Type of Charter: One-Way

    Very unpleasant experience. Features: Web site solicits reservations, prompts for a prepaid gratuity, requires customers to wait and wait and wait, in the cold (but note, the dispatch employee enjoys a heater) total wait of at least half an hour for a 20-minute ride SEATAC to Seattle. No response to a telephoned message inviting company reps to speak to me for direct feedback, a call in which I provided my name and phone number. A dispatch agent who talks back rudely to angry customers. Confusing dispatch procedure and priorities. "Check-in" on computer requires reading very fine print on paper (if you have the paper); otherwise, stand in line. A taxi would have cost only a few dollars more. My driver was the only truly professional part of my contact with this company. Advice: take a taxi instead and skip the attitude. If you made a reservation and there is no van, cancel and ask for a refund. Then dispute the charge with your credit card company.
